Dynamic Hip Screw

  1. Proximal Threaded Holes
Accommodate 3.5 mm locking screws to fix greater trochanteric fracture fragments.
  2. Plate Arms
Plate arms can be easily cut or bent for anatomical fit.
  3. Head Extension
Ensures correct lateral placement of the greater trochanteric fracture fragments.
  4. Proximal Slot
Accommodates a parallel 6.5 mm cancellous anti-rotation screw.
  5. Distal Slot
Accommodates either the Big Lag Srew or the Spiral Blade.
  6. DHS Plate or DHS Locking Plate
Accommodates either Big Lag Screw or Spiral Blade.
  7. Blade
Blade insertion reduces bone removal in the femoral head, which is especially good for osteoporotic bone. Increased blade-bone interface provides strong stability of anchoring and anti-rotation.
  8. Big Lag Screw
Big Lag Screw insertion is for bone of good quality, but it’s not suitable for fixation of osteoporotic bone when the screw is removed.
  9. Clinical Choices
Locking or compression fixation provides more clinical choices, and allows insertion of 5.0 mm locking screws, providing angular stability.
